PHILOSOPHY

Children’s Creative Learning Center, LLC is a place where children laugh and learn. The well-being and happiness of each child is of the utmost importance. We take pride in providing a warm, loving, creative atmosphere, in a clean, safe and nurturing environment.

Children's Creative Learning Center’s preschool is an extension of the home, where parents and teachers work together to help children grow towards self-reliance and independence. It is our goal to help each child develop positive feelings of self-worth and inner strength while learning to share, listen, interact, problem solve, and resolve conflicts by expressing their feelings in appropriate ways. We encourage individuality and pay careful attention to the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, imaginative and creative development of each child.

At Children's Creative Learning Center we provide children with many opportunities to ask questions, make choices, be absorbed and search for meaning. Concepts and age-appropriate skills are introduced to meet each child’s state of development. Taking into consideration each child’s learning style, interest, and readiness skills we believe children learn best through play and exploration. Activities and themes are designed to encourage curiosity and creative thinking. Cultural Awareness, Sign Language and Music are a vital part of our program. Our enriching classrooms, low child/teacher ratio and stimulation programs are designed to foster a life long love of learning while preparing your child for the exciting world of kindergarten.

We reinforce each day a child’s learning by:

1. Encouraging and praising positive behavior.
2. Listening to what each child is saying and responding appropriately.
3. Use positive rather than negative language.
4. Assist each child to master new skills and refine old skills.
5. Helping them to develop a positive self-image through positive thinking and reinforcement.
6. Encouraging natural curiosity and challenging their capacities at their own level of interest and knowledge.
7. Allowing children to problem solve among themselves without teacher interference, when possible.
8. Encouraging cooperation and working together as a team.
